A crash saw all traffic held on the M25 this evening as rain continues to lash down across London and the South East. Motorway traffic cameras are obscured by rain as a yellow warning remains in place from the Met Office for all of today and tomorrow, and a crash occurred between Junction 5 and Junction 6 of the M25.
Traffic and travel monitoring service Inrix reported: "One lane closed and queueing traffic due to accident on M25 clockwise at Broomlands Lane (Clacket Lane Services). Between J5 (M26) and J6 (Godstone). In lane one. Following a twenty minute hold."
All lanes have since reopened. A separate incident saw a lane closed in Enfield, North London.
